I'm sure many are surprised and stunned. I've actually created a blog in which I can post the many wonderful adventures of Ms. Marci and recent pictures. We are so blessed and so grateful to have this fun and fabulous toddler... she is always an adventure and a joy. I hope to capture many of her wild and zany moods in this blog...
Today we went to storytime at the Syracuse library. Normally Marci does not like crowded rooms and loud children but we held our own today. One of the books had some counting in it and Marci proceeded to count to 10, then 20 and finally stopping at 30. (Marci can count to 100.) I was relieved that she stopped counting as her voice was getting louder and more 'high pitched' and she was getting more animated, everyone started to look. After she had stopped she then looked around the room and then back at me and said 'Maw Maw'. Now for all my western friends and family, that doesn't mean much but to the Southern side.... 'Maw Maw' means Grandma (and also a word my western self has a hard time pronouncing!) Marci said it like a true Cajun. She has several words I could swear have a cajun twist to them but then I realize, she is still a toddler and has her own 'slang'. She loves being around books and in large open spaces. As we arrived home she dozed off in the car and the snow started to fall. Another excuse to snuggle up and enjoy the company of my loveable Cajun girl.
